Movie Reviews of Billabong OdysseyMovie Review: One word, three syllables: MINDBOGGLING Summary: 5 Stars
One of the best movies I have ever seen, regardless of genre or scripted v. unscripted. The sheer visceral thrill of seeing these surfers tackle the biggest (this movie redefines big) waves in the world with zero fear is not only unspeakably entertaining, it's inspiring. It's clear that both the surfers and the filmmakers pushed themselves to the limit to produce this amazing work. Five stars.
Movie Review: Wow Summary: 5 Stars
I definitely enjoyed this movie for the shear terror you feel every time you see these madmen screaming across the waves with thousands of pounds of liquid ready to crush them at a moments notice. I also loved it for the fact that it showed all of these big named surfers getting together and going to most of the big name waves and just doing some awesome surfing.
Movie Review: Do You Know What BIG Means? Summary: 5 Stars
I watched this movie when it was playing in NYC, and I was first in line to get the DVD. This will truly blow your mind, whether on the large screen or on your home TV. More than just amazing footage, the Odyssey takes you on a trip to the heart and soul of some of the world's greatest surfers. Ken Bradshaw is the MAN.
Movie Review: Super solid vid. Summary: 5 Stars
This is a really solid film that gives you a great inside view of just how serious the conditions are that these guys are taking on and shows all the work that goes into riding these monster waves. Definitely a great addition to any surfer's collection.
Movie Review: This movie is totally sick dudes!! Summary: 5 Stars
Awesome footage of some of the biggest waves I've ever seen, the best locations world wide its a good length about 1 hour 25 min. A must have for all surfing enthusiasts or anyone who can appreciate what it takes to conquer a big wave and survive.
