Movie Review: get real "KIDS"!!.

Give me a flipping break,leave pee-wee alone this is a review place,not a fourm to trash shows you don't like!!. the 2 kid reviewers of this dvd ,are KIDS!! and have no place here trashing a comedian like pee-wee and this movie,i mean get real i at least grew up when pee-wee was on tv and making these movies,so i think grown-ups would know a little more about the respectable pee-wee herman ,then inmature kids who have probably only known who pee-wee is for 5 months ,and probably only seen pee-wee's big adventure and this movie,and not every show made of pee-wee's playhouse,i grew up watching that unique show that was a breath of fresh air from every other crappy kids show,that had the same old repetitive junk content!. pee-wee was ahead of his time. and some small minded people can't let go of anchient history,about him in the adult movie theater,wah wah wah wah!!,it's not like he walked up to every single fan and punched them in the face,he is human. so in short ,if you don't like this dvd ,get lost, get over it, and leave space for the reviewer who want's to rate this as a dvd movie,not as a hate forum for people with small minds and a vandetta out for pee-wee's blood. cancel the witch hunt allready ,so he pee-weed himself in public ,who give a red rats ---. pee-wee hermans shows were the only happy thing in my whole childhood.

There's nothing wrong with Randall Kleiser's Big Top Pee-Wee that Pee-Wee's Big Adventure director Tim Burton wouldn't be able to fix. Take the scene in which entwined farmer and botanist Pee-Wee and ravishing circus performer Gina (Valeria Golina) blissfully ponder the shapes of the clouds. One can only imagine the wondrous forms Burton would have animated in the heavens. In Kleiser's sequel, they are mere cumulus. A talking pig and a sympathetic gallery of outcast circus performers (including a young Benicio Del Toro as the Dog-Faced Boy) notwithstanding, Big Top squanders much of the first film's magic and goodwill. Blame it on the script, which places arrested adolescent Pee-Wee in a small town that is unaccountably hostile to him. Blame it on Paul Rubens, who, perhaps rebelling against his own iconic creation, puts Pee-Wee in some disquieting libido-fueled situations, such as jumping his schoolteacher girlfriend Winnie (Penelope Ann Miller). "The children," Winnie fights him off as her class looks on. Indeed. --Donald Liebenson
