Movie Review: Another unnecessary sequel

I liked the original Big Momma House. Its was silly at times but it was funny as well as fun and I enjoyed myself watching it. This sequel lacks everything that made the first one great. Big Momma's House 2 is easily the most boring comedy sequel of all time. I found myself checking the time every five minutes and 1 hour and 39 minutes have never felt so long.
The plot is pretty weak plus it shows no reason for Malcolm to be "Big Momma. At least the first one gave you a semi-believable reason for Malcolm going undercover as Big Momma. But this sequel is too lazy to give you a slightly believable one.
Martin looks like he's bored out of his skull and pretty much sleepwalks through the whole movie. The rest of the cast does the same. The villain in the first one(Terrance Howard's character) wasn't too shabby. The villains in this movie are pathetic. I don't think I laughed one time. I might have had a slight chuckle or two and maybe a silent grin but other than that I was pretty bored.
Big Momma's House 2 is one of the most unwanted sequels since Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps. It was only made out of greed to capitalize of fans of the first one but the only people that would like this movie are the are the Dawson's Creek audience. This movie is weak, banal and utterly soulless. Totally devoid of anything that made the original interesting and amusing. Only recommended to those that still find Bob Saget funny.
PS: you weirdos and pseudo rights activists need to quit trying to turn Amazon into your own pathetic political soapbox. The space says type reviews not silly rants you losers!
Movie Review: Complete Waste of Time

If there was ever a movie not in need of a sequel, it's Big Momma's House. Don't get me wrong, I liked the first film a lot, but we all know when a film doesn't have what it takes to create a sequel, and this is one of those films. You can just tell that Martin Lawrence is despereate for a hit film. So desperate that he would make this piece of trash. First, there is the casting -- none of it worked. Mark Moses and Emily Proctor sound utterly stupid every time they say "Big Momma," not to mention that these TV stars aren't motion picture quality. Sure, they're great on Desperate Housewives (Moses) and CSI: Miami (Proctor), but they don't have the chops for feature films -- some actors don't, that's why they find their success on television. Next, there is the stupid, and I mean stupid, story line. Unlike the first film, Big Momma is jsut out of place in whitebread Orange County, the premise for her being there is flimsy at best, and the bad guys aren't evil they're just silly. Unless you are a huge Martin Lawrence fan skip this film. It does not showcase his comedic talents at all.Movie Review: A new low

Martin Lawrence should be embarrassed. If this piece of garbage parading as a movie was intended for pre-teens, and teens he should be apologizing to parents nationwide. Granted this was a movie, but what kind of message is he sending out there to kids, that first you won't get hurt anytime you jump face first from the top of shelves, a bunk bed, etc... But what really bothered me was the feeding of the tequila to a small dog. In real life, that dog wouldn't be peppy and happy....he would be dead from alcohol poisoning. I guarantee there will be some kid out there trying that out on his poor pooch. Kids get into enough trouble these days, don't give them any ideas! Shame on you Martin!Movie Review: this movie stanks

Martin Lawrence is getting paid&I ain't got no problems with that,but this film stanks. just a bunch of re-threads that Martin lawrence has done over&over again. i can't remember the last film he did that truly moved me.He is a very good talent,but often settles for a mess like this. so predictable&very boring.
