Movie Review: nostalgia, but very refreshing nonetheless...
Summary: 5 Stars
As was stated in another review, this is like discovering some hidden gems, yes...
I wish I would have seen these when they were 1st run, (well, we all saw "In a Big Country" ad nauseum on MTV right?) but I think by the time they has released "Steeltown" I had stopped watching TV altogether, so... :P
I just want to add that it was refreshing as heck to see some old school music videos that focus on the band and the music instead of all that strobe-o-editing, matrix-like effects, &/or the too skinny model-running-down-the-alley-in-the-rain crapola.
They couldn't have made a better video for "Wonderland"...well, if they would have managed to animate the COVER of the 12 inch extended remix single of that song...
ahhh Stuart, close to the annversary of your death, this is bittersweet, to finally see these videos (and all of the concerts coming out on dvd) but we should be greatful they are. ( I know I am )
