Movie Reviews of Best of the Best

Movie Review: Great movie
Summary: 5 Stars

'Best of the Best' remains one of the best American martial arts movies ever. 5 Americans are chosen to compete in a martial arts contest against Korea. If you are expecting your average B action movie than you have another thing coming. While the acting is not exactly oscar worthy, it is still very good. Even the female that comes in to teach the guys how to develop their power from within isn't cheesy. This is definitely the weakest part of the story as her part is not explained very well but it is amazing that there is nothing cheesy about the movie save Christopher Penn as the racist jerk who you still can't help but like. James Earl Jones is great as the coach and the weakest scene of the movie is time filler where Eric Roberts and Phillip Rhee decide they can't be part of the team but of course show back up to go up agianst Korea. Showing the Koreans train was a great scene and the end I cannot give away anything but I can tell you that they just don't make them like this anymore.

Movie Review: Best of the BEST IS TOP NOTCH !
Summary: 5 Stars

I will make it Short! Because I know people don't like long Reviews.

This was one the best karate movie of all time. Realistic it is the best movie.

The Real Raw Emotion in the movie was shown. It shows exactly what athletes like this go through.

My Favorite Scene is when tommy lee is not kicking the bag hard, and his Coach Says DAMN IT TOMMY what the hell is wrong with you. We going to Korea in 2 weeks. Then Tommy Wakes up and rememebered what happened to his brother in the ring when he didn't prepare. And Kicks the bag so hard the guy Hold bag falls over. It meants so much more though than a hard kick.

I won't ruin the the whole movie. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Movie Review: One Of The Best Martial Arts Movies Ever Made!
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie is about an American Karate national team who are training hard to fight the Korean Tae Kwon Do national team in Korea. The Korean team is very strong and fierce, and the American team needs to be well prepared for them. They train hard and they develop their mindset for this big challenge.

The story might seem like a straightforward and simple one, however the action is quite amazing. If the viewer is into martial arts, he/she will certainly fall in love with this movie.

This movie is like the martial arts version of "Rocky".

Chuck Liddell said that this is one of his favorite martial arts movies, I can see why.

Movie Review: The Best of the Best is one of the best
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is a great movie, real fighting techniques great coreography, great actors like James Earl Jones, ( everybody knows coaches don't have to be in shape just have to know wich buttons to push, and what techniques have to be used to get you to be the best you can be, coaches are not "martial art instructors" How many great boxing coaches have never been champions? How many champions are great coaches?), with Erick Roberts and Phillip Rhee (one of the best Korean stylists in the world). If you want to be inspired to excell in any martial art, this movie is the best movie.

Movie Review: What a great movie
Summary: 5 Stars

A movie like Best of the Best deserves alot more credit and box office than it got. The movie is well paced and very well acted but its the ending that makes it a great movie. Not many films realy capture the basic goodness of human beings but Best of the Best does. You can dismiss a movie like this as 80's fluff but all I can say is the ending moves me to tears every time and Im not ashamed to admit it at all.
