Movie Review: This is so true to life my guess is people won't like it

I live in Eastern Europe and was freaked out by the eery realness of this movie vis a vis the actors they chose to play the parts and the personalities of the characters (esp the bad guys ... they are really like that). Also, the camera angles and the odd style with which scenes are shot makes it all so REAL. I felt like I was being chased. I felt like my plane was blowing up. I felt nervous and tense. It seemed real to me and not just "Hollywood explosions blah blah blah" because it seemed real. There was only one campy line at the very end, but I can forgive them this small error because the rest of the movie was excellent. Wait till you see the part where the man says "Help me" ... and watch his reaction. GREAT!Movie Review: Behind Enemy Lines ..... Awesome

Behind Enemy Lines is an awesome war/action film! Its a great film period! Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman are a great team/cast for this movie! They are both awesome actors! This film had a good plot!This film ,while watching it, makes you feel like you are there.All through the movie you are rigth there with Burnett(Wilson) feeling his pain,joy,ect.and also Admiral Reigart's(Hackman).Tracker(Maskov) was also a good actor as the "bad guy".The graphics in this movie were totaly awesome!! I watched this in theaters 5 times and am in the process of buying it! I mean its just nonstop action! And fun!Personally I give this film 5 stars. Actors-great! Plot-great! Graphics-Great! Ect.-Great! P.S. Owen Wilson is cute!
Movie Review: Gripping, Realistic, Timely

I enjoyed Behind Enemy Lines very much. The cinematography is fantastic and the acting is amazing. Owen Wilson's performance, in particular, took me by surprise. I didn't realize how talented he is until I saw this film. I think this story is based on actual events. Even though it is dramatized and emotional, the story is told in a very realistic way. It also draws you in. I was not bored for a second. And I bore easily, especially in war and action movies. Thankfully, this film is the right combination between action and plot. I am really interested to hear the director's commentary on the DVD to know more of what goes into making a film like this - I'm sure it was an emotional endeavor for all involved.Movie Review: Excellent Movie!

I would highly recommend "Behind Enemy Lines". Owen Wilson did an excellent job in this movie by adding more depth, feeling, and personality to his character than that usually seen in a military-type movie. His comical timing was excellent throughout the film. The visual effects, action sequences, and cinematography were astounding. During the pilot ejection scene, they captured more of the actual mechanical ejection sequence than I have ever seen in a film. This movie not only provides a unique visual experience and story line, but also captures many of the emotional aspects of war situations including the high levels of frustration, fear, and despair that are experienced.Movie Review: Whizbang action meets . . . well, yeah, more whizbang action

I'm a sucker for war and action movies, I go see them all, so naturally I was eager to view Behind Enemy Lines. And I have to say it is the best straight-action movie I have seen in a long time. Not since the days of The Rock and Face/Off has there been an action movie with such class as what it is . . . an action movie. Sure, there have been other action movies coming out by the truckloads, including the likes of Gladiator and The Matrix, but they all try and reach deeper, most of the time successfully, and go beyond the action. BEL doesn't tend to do that, with the exception of Owen Wilson stubbling into that mass grave, it's just a fun movie from beginning to end.
