Movie Reviews of BedazzledMovie Review: A Classic... Summary: 5 Stars
and it is a tragedy this is not yet out in the US on DVD (a UK R2 edition was released this last Summer)
FOX, get on the ball-you promised this in an HTF chat a while back.
You have ZARDOZ and VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA (1961) out, for jiminies sakes!
This film on DVD will sell like hotcakes!
Movie Review: Best and funniest version of Faust ever made- Summary: 5 Stars
After dozens of viewings, it still makes me fall off the couch laughing, it's so funny - makes today's big comedians look boring and stupid. It's a travesty that it's currently not available, especially as my copy is soooo old. Watch it over & over, you just catch new little jokes you missed the first time.
Movie Review: bedazzled Summary: 5 Stars
One of my all-time favorites. Dated references, but definitely worth owning and watching again and again. I can't imagine that the new adaptation will be able to approach the original in quality--this one's a classic. I also really love The Wrong Box which also pairs Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.
Movie Review: Bedazzled by bedazzled Summary: 5 Stars
Don't be fooled by the terrible remake of this film that was made just a few years ago. This film is brilliant - hysterically funny. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were two of the leading lights of the satirical stage show "Beyond the Fringe," a precursor to Monty Python. Faust was never this funny.
Movie Review: ...and all we get is Brandon Frasier. Summary: 5 Stars
If I could give this movie 6 stars I would.
This is hands down the best movie from the U.K's swinging sixties. Cooke and Moore were never better than this.
It is beyond belief that this film is not available in the U.S. And to add insult to injury, that pathetic remake is.
