Movie Review: Hysterically Funny - Brilliantly Witty

No matter how many times I see this movie, I just keep laughing. I won't rehash the plot again since other have done a good job of it already- just a moment to say this is /essential/ 60's comedy by a classic pair of actors (Cook and Moore) with onscreen chemistry that studios would kill for. It -neeeeeeds- to be released on DVD and not rehashed by modern actors. Its a genuine classic.Movie Review: Thank you!

Thank you for making the original Cook/Moore "Bedazzled" available in DVD. I watched this movie for the first time in a small town South Carolina drive-in when I was sixteen years old. I had never seen anything like it! This was filmed over forty years ago and I've still never seen anything like it. Well what a good idea it was to purchase the late-at-night gem! I have only seen this late at night on free-to-air before and somehow can't watch it in broad daylight. Cheeky Peter Cook is great as the disinterested Devil and Dudley Moore falls for the twist every time. A great bit of comedy beofre the likes of Monty Python took over this type of comedy.Movie Review: British comedy classic par excellence

For anyone unlucky enough not to have seen the classic pairing of pre Hollywood Dud Moore and the master of droll Peter Cook, then I urge you to see this at once. I have an ancient faded copy and would love to replace it with a new one. Can anyone help? Love this movie - not a Dudley Moore Fan, have never seen anything else by Peter Cook, find this movie absolutely brilliant in so many subtle and hilarious ways. I liked the remake, but something about the original just kills me every time I watch it. Watch it, you'll either love it or hate it...
