Movie Reviews of Batman - Mystery of the Batwoman (Keepcase)Movie Review: Great Batman animated movie Summary: 4 StarsI thought this was a great movie. It had all of the elements that made the animated series so good, but it was longer. The mystery of who Batwoman was kept me guessing until almost the end when the answer was revealed. If you liked the animated series I would recomment buying this.
Movie Review: Well developed entertaining story. Summary: 5 StarsThe WB-DC Comics collaboration turns out another excellent full length cartoon movie. This one focuses on a mysterious Batwoman fighting crime in Gotham as a vigilante. As a full length movie the authors were able to develop a storyline with much more depth and they did. The result is entertaining and well-made.
Movie Review: The end of Batman the Animated Series.... Summary: 4 StarsThe end of the line. This movie marked the end of Batman: the Animated Series. A mysterious new figure, Batwoman, is in Gotham targeting the criminal underworld. Batman tries to find out who the Batwoman is, coming close, but then finding that it can't be who he thinks it is. It also marks a welcome return of the villain Bane, always a personal favorite.
This movie also serves as a sort of backdoor for Batman Beyond. Take a look at the Batwoman's costume and you kind of get the idea where the suit in Batman Beyond comes from.
Movie Review: batwoman rocks Summary: 5 Starshere is another great batman animated film which features a new heroe batwoman. who gives batman a ran for his money. this movie was awesome.
Movie Review: Not overly serious, but quite good Summary: 4 StarsI have always liked Batman, and this story is a good one. The title threw me a bit - my mind read "Catwoman" for a long time until I really paid attention to the cover and read the summary on the back!
There is a Batwoman going around town , getting back at the bad guys who have done her wrong over the years, and Batman has to find out who she is. Not overly complicated but a good story. There is depth beyond my short description however, as there is more than one suspect, so adults won't pick it right away - it'll keep you going for a good while. Robin is of the Tim Drake era, but does not play a big role.
All the bat-gear is there, as you'd expect, and despite what some have said, I found the video clip enjoyable. It's animation to music , without voices, and just a little something extra, like a short story. The other extras are good also - some interviews with the voice-actors and the writers and producer. So what if it was developed quickly? Sometimes good ideas flow quite quickly, you shouldn't have to struggle and stress over something before it can be a good product.
Buy it, watch it, enjoy it.
