Ok, Gothumb city and this movie are a bit weak. I think Steve could have done a bit more than he did with this spoof. It is still funny, but out of his first 4 Thumb movies... this is the 4th place flick of the bunch. It is still entertaining, but don't get your hopes too high up there.Movie Review: GoThumb

Bat Thumb was very disappointing to me. After seeing Thumb Wars and Thumbtanic, this new installment just didn't have what it takes. But the more I watched Bat Thumb, the more I grew to like it. This is a 30 minute spoof on Batman, but the whole cast is just thumbs with super-imposed faces. You have to see it to believe it, and Bat Thumb shines in its facial animations. Thumb faces aside, however, the humor is rare. In a nutshell, Bane's mellow voice, Wuce's drunken butler, and any interaction between Bat Thumb and Blue Jay are all hilarious. Unfortunately, most of the movie is bitterly paced by its slow and dry storyline. The jokes are, shall we say, few and far between, not like the nonstop antics of Thumb Wars. Even the infamous "Whoo-hoo!" cyclops just wasn't cutting the grade. The DVD extras are nice, but don't make up for what the main movie lacks. All in all, good for a hearty chuckle, but doesn't come close to Thumb Wars and Thumbtanic.
