Movie Review: This is the best massage video available

Ever since I was young, I have always been interested in massage and physical therapy. When I got out of high school I became a physical therapist but never attained my additional goal of massage therapy. I had a husband and children and never seemed to have the time or money to enroll in a massage academy. I ran across this massage video when I was surfing the internet one day and decided to give it a shot. I figured it was worth trying since I didn't have any other venue in the near future to pursue massage.
I found My Massage Video to be quite possibly the most interesting and informative information on massage I have come across. In a reasonable period of time and for a reasonable rate I have learned various techniques of massage therapy. It has not only provided self enrichment, it has also enhanced my career in that I'm multi-faceted and able to serve my clients better.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this video to anyone seeking a career in massage therapy (or related sciences) or who has an interest and would like to pick up a new skill.

I bought this in VHS format - but many buy in DVD so I wanted to review it here as well. I was extremely happy with this video. It showed the basics - and that's just what I wanted. Most of us know that we carry stress in our shoulders and one of the things this video explained was the accupressure points in our body to relieve those stress knots. It also showed how to give a soothing swedish massage. I've used the techniques I've learned in the tape and always have someone who's fallen asleep by the end of the massage! (now THAT'S a compliment)! Thanks for a great basic tape that everyone should have.
Movie Review: Back to Basics

I studied massage therapy a few years ago and, due to some back problems, had to give it up for a couple of years. When my back finally got better, I wanted to start up my massage therapy again. I had lost my rhythm and touch, and forgotten some techniques.The Basic Massage Video (and DVD too), I found, is the best video for teaching and relearning the trade. After promptly receiving and reviewing the video, I was able to get my rhythm back and learned all over the massage therapy techniques. I would suggest this video to anyone, from novice to vastly experienced.

Movie Review: Good for beginners

I've always wanted to learn the basics w/out attending a school. Enough to know how to massage someone w/out hurting them. This is a great video for beginners. The instructions are clear & the voice is soothing enough that I can try some of the massages on someone while I run the CD on my laptop. One tiny complaint-when she massages the right side of the body the camera does not move to that side so you can't see what she's doing till she does it to the left side. Good lighting & good shots of the how your hand should massage each muscle.Movie Review: Relaxation at it's best!...

This Basic massage Therapy video is one of the best massage videos I have ever seen. It is extremely detailed and informative. I actually used some of the techniques that I learned from watching this video to give massages to my family and friends. They said it felt as if they had been to see a professional massage therapist!... I would definitely recommend this video for anyone wanting to learn about massage.
