Movie Review: A must have!
Summary: 5 Stars
What a great movie, what a great story! My children (4 and 6) always agree to watch it. They love the dogs and they love the suspense of the dogs racing to get the medicine. It also gets kids into history. We followed up with the books on Balto and dog racing. I think this movie is a great alternative to some of the more modern action packed - cartoon violent, sarcastic movies around out there that say they are for kids. This is based on a true story and is a fun loving, animal loving story!Movie Review: Really Good Story......

I've watched this several times with my kids. It a very good story. Nice and clean. Good v Evil and all that. There is a good mixture of seriousness and laughter. This movie could have been heavy for a younger audience, but the director did an excellent job of lightening it up and bringing the characters to life.Kevin Bacon is perfect for the roll. His voice fits that animations perfectly.
I plan on purchasing this on DVD as soon as it is released. Also, the new story as well.
Movie Review: Wonderful Movie

I first saw this movie when I was a kid--probably nine or ten--and I loved it. I just bought it now, at 22, and I have to say it has aged very well. While the sequals (surprisingly) leave one feeling rather cheated, the first movie is excellent. A wonderful family movie it is made even better with wonderful animation, an excellent score (James Horner does not fail to please) and great voice acting. I love this movie and I recommend it to anyone old, young and anywhere in between.Movie Review: Great movie! An animated classic!

This is a wonderful movie that I think people of all ages can enjoy. The story is great and has a heartwarming ending. Main characters are unforgettable and are very well acted for the kind of movie this is. The movie overall has a little of everything in it that makes for a great adventure. One of the BEST things that I liked about the movie was NO SINGING!!!!! Just a wonderful story with superb animation for its day. Balto is one of the BEST movies of all time! Although Kevin Bacon's voice doesnt really fit Balto,its still great! Steele is a wonderful bad guy!! Hes cool! His voice is superbly suited to his looks and character!!! Jenna is GREAT too!! The best scenes are the moments between Steele and Jenna,the part where they go for the Medicine. You will LOVE this movie! Better than any Disney cause there is NO singing!!
