Movie Review: Not a bad movie at all... just too short!
Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a fan of the band, so I simply had to check out the movie on curiosity factor alone, not knowing whether it was going to be a low-budget semi-vanity flick like Master P's "I'm Bout It" (which I liked in spite of itself) or just an extended rap video... As it turns out, this movie, despite the fact that it's only an hour long (not counting the bonus footage of the video for the title track and the interviews), was very well filmed, produced, and written. The acting by the band members was... well, they, like Zappa & the Mothers in "200 Motels", were playing versions of themselves, so in that respect it came off very well. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in either action films in general or the current subgenre of self-released rap-related movies.Movie Review: Whoadie

The hue and cry for more general-audience pictures with wide family appeal for young and old is answered in "Baller Blockin'," which, given the right kind of sell, should be money in the bank-and lots of it. Seldom does a picture come along that packs such a wallop in every phase-family life, an exciting Florida hurricane sequence, undersea shots, pathos, comedy and an almost incredible nonhuman star, a dolphin, which is almost human in its portrayal of a small boy's pet. Okay the movie was off the heezy like lil wayne would say they dealt with real live day to day issues. Their are people out there like the ones in the movie who will try to sell you out. Some police are fake but, they showed you how it really was. This is a movie that you should get becuse it is funny and a action movie and they need to come out with a BALLER BLOCKIN 2 becuse when they do, i will get it. when i first got this movie, I watch it about 5 times straight because it is a good movie and i beleive Cash Money did they thang in this movie.

Baller Blockin is a good, fun movie with nonstop action and an absolutely fantastic soundtrack setting the scenes. Aside from the great movie the DVD also features an interview with the Cash Money millionaires and the music video for baller blockin (with e-40). If you like rap music and a good gangsta movies BUY THIS DVD!!
