I loved watching this quirky, fun movie years ago, and was delighted to find it available for sale as a CD. We need lots of CDs handy because after a hurricane, we get electricity back but have to wait a week or so more until all the connections are fixed to get cable TV. The whole neighborhood trades CDs to help entertain us. Sometimes it helps to drown the noise of the chain saws going on all around us!Movie Review: new copies cut part out?

I am a big fan of this movie. When I originally saw it at least ? 10+ yrs ago I swear the part where the German lady is sitting on the end of her bed in her room with her underwear on was much longer-it's just silence-something about that just tickles me and i think they made that part shorter in later DVDs-what's the orig date of the movie? i need that version.Movie Review: calling you

The essence of this film is the song "calling you"....hauntingly done by Jevetta Steele...something in Yasmine calls to Brenda and something in Brenda calls to Yasmine...every character needs something from someone else...someone to whom they would never ordinarily look. Tolerance, awakening, love, and joy when least expected. Who could ask for more?Movie Review: It will transform your life and make you laugh at the same time.

This is one of the most powerful films that I have ever seen; since it shows how an individual can become unstuck in a life that seems mired in misery and/or a rut.. At first the film seems weird and stuffy but stick with it and after twenty minutes you will start to see the magic....And after forty minutes you will feel it!Movie Review: Bagdad Cafe - excellent 'sleeper' movie

I saw this movie first years ago and have not been able to find it again until an Amazon search. If you enjoy the 'art' movies and/or those which are slightly offbeat but beautiful and memorable you must see this movie. I am glad to have it in my collection to see from time to time and enjoy all over again. Thanks.
