Movie Reviews of Bad Company

Movie Review: Bad Company? Means CIA or Bad Bad Movie?
Summary: 1 Stars

One of the worst movies ever seen. So contrite and so ridiculously made. Since when the so-called CIA would have jurisdition in domestic affair? It is widely known that anything turned interior it would have to turn to FBI and local police forces to do the job. Since when the CIA goons would have shown their ID pass so publicly as cops in the train station chasing bad guys? None of the CIA guys looked like CIA guys in this pathetic movie including the old and fat Hopkins. And if handguns were so effective than the assault rifles or machine pistols that all the CIA guys are all dead shots by aiming handguns and shot almost every one of the bad guys with machine guns, and no machine guns could ever hit any CIA guy in the firefights. So why in the first place those bad guys would still have chosen fast guns instead of the single shot automatic to be beaten everytime? This movie was so badly made and without any basic common sense of everything. That Chris Rock looked so untidy as always and so unconvincing as anything else except an uneducated street-wise-only guy. Lousy script, lousy casting made this movie so pathetic that I just couldn't stop cursing during watching and, believe you me that I suddenly had the urge to watch "Enemy of The State" or "Undersiege" again, because they are maybe both 100 times better than this funny moive. Well, that maybe just my own taste did the calling and there just one thing that I'm very pleased after watching this lousy movie, I'm glad that I'm not the producer who would have thrown so much money into it and wasted it so unwisely.

Movie Review: Bad company, bad movie
Summary: 1 Stars

Simply put, this is a disappointing film. From the casting to the implausible and even more impossible plot, the whole thing does not make any sense. Chris Rock although a good comedian does not an action star make. Chris Rock tones down his whole schtick in an attempt to be cool and composed but ends up looking half baked. His natural talents are sadly wasted in this movie. Anthony Hopkins who is an excellent actor is a little too old to be cast in an action role to make it believeable. If you want a young guy, old guy action movie see "The Rock". The formula does not work all the time. The entire movie is a waste of talent with a painfully predictable plot that no amount of explosions and car chases will erase. The DVD has a THX soundtrack, but barely makes up for the content. Rent this movie first. If you still want to buy it, wait until after Christmas, it should be under relatively cheap by then.

Movie Review: "Be Worned, If You See This Film, You Will Not Recover"
Summary: 1 Stars

This film is horrible. Anthony Hopkins is boring and Chris Rock should take a page from Spike Lee's movie "Bamboozled" and STOP! All that shuckin and jivin is not in anymore and Chris should know better. And what was Anthony Hopkins thinking? Cha-ching Cha-ching.. Yes we know what--money. This was the worse movie ever. Joel Schumacher is an appalling director and should retire.

Movie Review: It BURNNNNS!
Summary: 1 Stars

AUGHHH! Oh, avoid! I actually thought this could be funny. Chris Rock didn't write his lines and it's never funny. There seems to be a lack of interest on all parts. Main actors, director, etc. etc. The humor all comes from him being a black James Bond. Spare us. It fails on almost every level, it's dry and dull, I thought it would never end!

Movie Review: Action and comedy at their worst
Summary: 1 Stars

Bad Company wasn't a perfect film and it could have been. With the direction of Joel Schumacher and the on screen partnership of Chris Rock & Anthony Hopkinks but I was wrong. The film is slowly paced and Chris Rock looked bored in the role. Skip this one even if you're a diehard Rock fan.
