Movie Review: Nice, But Tristar Needs to 'SUPERBIT' this title!
Summary: 4 Stars
Though the film is extremely entertaining and the documentary is also enjoyable, the studio needs to release a 'SUPERBIT' version (higher quality video standard that utilizes space on the disc normally reserved for special features for picture quality instead) of this title like they have for 'Vertical Limit', 'Dracula', and 'Johnny Neumonic' to truly earn the 5th star.Unfortunately, Bad Boys looks grainy on a 65" rear projection Widescreen TV when compared to high quality mastered titles like Star Wars, LOTR, and The Rock: The Critereon Edition and Superbit titles, which still looks razor sharp at this size.

This movie would have gotten 5 stars from me , but it was just a little to violent & the language was out of control which seemed weird for a Will Smith movie. Other than thoes 2 things, I have no complaints about the movie and would highly recommend it. I really enjoyed the comedic dialog between Smith & Lawrence who are cops and two of my all-time favorites. If you like action and comedy mixed together than you'll love this movie. What can I say....Lights, camera and ACTION and LAUGHS! A great movie for a great price! The only reason I rated it one less star is that it comes automatically with american subtitles, so each time you want to watch it again (reload) you must go into the menu and turn the subtitles off, or actually it's already set to off, but you must click it.
But for the price I can live with that!

The other critics on this page have to be total IDIOTS/GEEKS!!! "Bad Boys" is a great movie for everyone to watch. Although, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are/were comedians, they did an excellent job in the movie. The chemistry that the two shared made the movie even better. The sequel to the movie is even better than the first.Movie Review: pretty fun action

This movie is very fun and full of action. If you can get past the cursing, it's well worth it. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are almost too much fun as cop partners who go deep undercover to recover stolen police evidence (drugs). Tea Leoni is also hilarious in the film and serves as a great counterpoint to the cocky buddy cops.
