Movie Review: Lawrence and Smith make a great team
Summary: 5 Stars
Martin Lawrence is a working-class married man and Will Smith is a rich bachelor with a new woman every night. What could they possibly have in common? Well, they are NARC patners. These 2 actors are great together, and the sparks fly on screen. They have awesome comic chemistry together. After their career drug bust is stolen, they a small amount of time to get it back, with no leads. But after Smith's friend is murdered, her best friend who witnesses tries to contact him. it turns out the murderer is one of the men who stole the drugs. Tea Leoni, as the witness, contacts Smith, but gets Martin Lawrence on the phone instead. Afraid of losing her, he pretends he is Will Smith, and the rest of the film is about the 2 men trying to get the drugs back while juggling their identity switch and the trigger-happy witness, looking to avenge her friend's death.
Bad Boys is laugh out loud funny, and the action scenes are some of the best ever. This is a crowd pleaser here. The DVD transfer is equally good, with wonderful sound/picture quality, and a lot of good features.
Movie Review: The best DVD I have own!!

This is a reference disc that every studio must follow. A lot of extras (Documentary, Multi-angle feature, Theatrical trailers, incluiding men in black and Blue Strike, and no one or two but three musical videos). Then go to language, you find English Dolby Surround and 5.1; also you will find a Dolby Surround Spanish track and a Isolated Score in 5.1. Well, I'm a fan of spanish tracks and subtitles, and the second reason i have purchased this disc was the presence of the spanish track (The first was that i like the movie, but i like a lot of movies), but after seeing with the isolated score, i have a new reason to be proud of it. The movie itself is not very deep, but you will be laughing during all the presentation. And last but not less important comes the subtitles, english, spanish, french, portugues, chinese, thai and korean. Seeing the movie with isolated and subtitles in your language is a superb experience (Don't forget the disco scene). Very good work from the folks of columbia. Yeah, Bad Boys is a really sweet action film--as are all of Michael Bay's movies--but I think the cars deserve most of the credit. I mean, at the end, we've got a Porsche 911--black, of course--chasing down the badguy in the most perfect car ever to be shown in a movie: an AC Shelby Cobra 427 with white racing stripes. That is the best scene in the movie, where Lawrence and Smith are chasing down the badguy (what's his name?) on an airport runway. Easily the saddest part of the movie is when the Cobra hits a brick wall and is mangled (*tear*). Well, anyway, it should be easy to see that, having Will Smith *and* Martin Lawrence, it is a funny movie, too. Don't get me wrong, it's not really an action comedy like Money Talks or Blue Streak, but it does have some hilarious parts. I guess the comedy is a little stronger than in The Rock, which, if you've seen it, you'll know has some funny scenes, too. Anyone that likes any of the movies I described should see this movie...and if you've already seen it...see it again!Movie Review: Bay! A Genius Emerges

While I thought this movie was silly ... and the script was particulary ridiculous ... also the performances were competent but not transcendant ... and the whole identity confusion thing was unnecessary, but I guess when the script and story are so thin you have to find something to fill the 90 minutes. So yes, this movie is severely flawed and not worth anyone's time to see it, but (and it's a big but) you can see the genius of Michael Bay working his way through the film. Little things: the placement of a trash can, the bangles on Tea Leoni's wrist, the use of slow motion, when it doesn't seem called for. The rest of it is really intangible and I don't know whether he did this before or after that terrific Lionel Richie video he did, but there's a certain uncomprehensible quality that just screams ... Bay = Genius. So again, I would see this only if you consider yourself a Bayophile. Even then, you'll not like it, but you'll appreciate what Bay tried to do, even though everyone else let him down.Movie Review: Great Movie

Will & Martin (Mike & Marcus) get together for one of the finest action adventures up until its time (not to mention very funny). I remember I was almost 13 when I snuck in the movies to see this and it's been one of my favorites since. The two are working in the TNT unit in Miami PD when tons (literally) of heroin is stolen form their station one night. Having only 4 days to recover it and one witness on the loose they must find her and find out who the people are who stole it and how they got the info. When Mike's (Will Smith's) girlfriend get's killed trying to help it goes personal. On the verge of solving it they get shut down by IA but they continue the investigation to a very high explosive and good ending. That's all I'll say you have to watch it to get the full story and satisfaction. A funny, action packed and Great movie I'd recommend for everyone.
