Movie Reviews of BackdraftMovie Review: Raging Inferno! Summary: 4 Stars
Forget the story about the brothers. It's all about the fire, baby! Explosions galore. Raging infernos that spread with just the smallest amount of oxygen. Boom! Watch people open doors and a huge fireball surprises them! William Baldwin runs on a rooftop while the roof collapses, Kurt Russell is the ultimate hero, and the old guy did it. Ron Howard's fireman picture will always be remembered for its special effects, not story. Oh yeah, it's also a good 'ride' at Universal Studios.
Movie Review: respectable movie Summary: 4 Stars
I was a fire fighter 82-83, and i seen the movie when it was in the theatre, i liked it a lot, in fact i used to work but a few blocks away from the china town station on cermak road where some of the footage was shot, it dealt with fire house comrades, dealt with " hero syndrome", i was not expecting a techical as it really suppose to be movie, but the heroism displayed by the fire fighters are 5 star commendable.
Movie Review: This is a great movie. Great Special effects and sounds Summary: 4 Stars
Coming from a firefighter, this is the best firefighting movie I have seen. The special effects and sounds make the movie action packed from the "first alarm" I highly recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it.
Movie Review: DVD was made for a movie like this! Summary: 4 Stars
Backdraft is one of those movies where it touches every one of your emotions. It has great action, excellent acting-Ron Howard at his best. With DVD, the sound during the fire scenes is spectacular! I highly recommend this film!
