Movie Reviews of Arthur

Movie Review: Disgusting (Save the title song)
Summary: 1 Stars

I picked up this crab for my X-mas 2001. All along the movie, I kept expecting some twist but it turned out to be a just silly and unreal sack of meaningless jokes. The title song was still so lovely and the butler is very well done but, as can be heard in the movie, most people are poor. But he cannot get everything he wants only because he is so rich with 750M. Was the girl not interested in his money? Really she wasn't? I couldn't find any attractiveness from this drunk, helpless silly man. He is just annoying. Even when he claims he is poor, it sounds like another joke. And what we saw? He ended up nopt losing anything-girl, his own life and money. Frankly, Susan looks like a fine girl. Arthur insulted her in public. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with 'rich man + poor girl' story (Remember Lovestory??). I just guess this poor film might fail in developing characters (except the butler). I don't think the couple would be very happy after all. There was no real good tie between two, IMHO. Ignore this film, it isn't worth your 2 bucks.
