Movie Reviews of Army of Darkness

Movie Review: A Classic.
Summary: 5 Stars

The third installment of the "Evil Dead" series find hero Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) transported to the Middle Ages, where he is enlisted by the English Army to aid in a battle against The Deadites, a horrific group of zombies intent on destroying England. Ash agress to play along in return for a way to get home. What ensues is one of the greatest action / comedy movies ever made. Bruce Campbell plays Ash better than ever, delivering many a classic line and owning the screen. The special effects are awesome, and the film as a whole is timeless. A must have.

Movie Review: The ULTIMATE "B" Movie, The Best of the Evil Dead Saga!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Bruce Campbell is the epitome of the male persona. Face it, chicks dig him and guys want to be like him. This movie is better than Star Wars, and I have seen it more times than the whole Star Wars Saga all together! Quick wit, chisled looks, and the charm of a pit viper, Bruce Campbell is fearless system bucking know-it-all that everyone wants to be in their life. Hell, I hope there is an Evil Dead 4. God only knows what to expect. If you watch any movie, watch this one. This IS "THE ULTIMATE "B" MOVIE" with a bigger budget.

Movie Review: Great Movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie has to be one of my favorites! Although it is suppose to be a scarry movie, it is more of a comedy than a horror filim. There are those jump through your skin moments in it, but many more laugh till your sides hurt moments. See if you can remember "to say those words correctly." Great fun for teens and adults alike. I wouldn't recommend younger kids viewing this as they might find it scarry, but for anyone over the age of 12-13, it should be ok. I watched it with my 12 year old son who was howling with laughter through most of it.

Movie Review: The Ultimate in Midevil Horror
Summary: 5 Stars

Sam Raimi does it again with another horror/comedy hit. Bruce Campbell returns as our chainsaw-handed, shotgun totting, zombie slayer Ash, as he lands in the Dark Ages. It is here he must quest for the Necronomicon, save the castle, and get the girl. This movie is a non-stop insanity trip through the mind of Sam Raimi. With his brilliant camera work and kinetic film style, Army of Darkness proves to be a winner. Where else can you find chainsaws, an army of skeletons, a 73 Oldsmobile, AND the word "Groovy!"

Movie Review: This film was great
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie was great. The hell with the effects, it was Bruce Campbell who made this film. He could definitely give Deniro or Pacino a run for their money as 2nd coolest movie star (No one could EVER top Nicholson). Bruce Campbell made the film fun to watch, and gave me so many one-liners to use on my friends, who had never even HEARD of the Evil Dead series! I've read the original script, and I think the originally planned ending should have been used instead, but this was still a great flick. And Bridget Fonda... whoa.
