Finally a thought provoking movie.Egoyan,with his unique style, was able to tell the public about the atrocities,that were and still are denied by Turkey,while making the ugly past part of the problematic present of all the parties involved (Armenians, non-Armenians and Turks). Finally an international motion picture on the Armenian Genocide. I saw Ararat in Paris and will "never forget" it. Hitler said "Who afterall remembers the genocide of the Armenians" in gathering support to wipe out the Jews. Well, too bad Egoyan was not around back then.Movie Review: High-Level Serious Drama
