If you like myths, legends or anything magical you will love this movie. It is about true love and lessons in life. A woman tries to save her love from madness by telling him stories. Stories that will help guide and hopeful teach him to be a good person again. I really enjoyed this movie the first time I watched it. So much so that I went ahead and bought it. If you enjoy the Disney stories but think their a little to childish these are the same stories before Disney took out all the violence. Its not gory or anything just a lot more grown up. It may be an older movie but I don't think the graphics are lacking at all.Movie Review: Captivating

As the storyteller says, you must leave your audience wanting more....well, they sure did accomplish that task. My husband and I could not turn off the tv, we had to stay up and finish until 1:00 AM. The first time my daughter and I rented this dvd, she was 21 and we both were so entranced by the story and the production that we watched it 5 times that week. This was a birthday gift for my mother. She shares the same taste in movies as I do. I arrived quickly and in great shape. We watched it immediately. If you have not had a chance to watch this movie and you like "Jack and the Beanstalk, the Real Story" you will love it.
