Movie Review: One of the Greatest stories ever
Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of Stephan King's best stories that was turned in an ok movie. The story was more graphic and the ending was much better, but this is an excellent movie all the same. I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in history to see how they can take things that happen all that time ago, and bring them back into today's society. Best news is that this film has hit rock bottom. As such you can pick it up from Wall mart for $5.99.
At that price you have to have this film in your collection. Simply put , the film takes a historical idea and brings it to a dramatic conclusion.

If there is a problem with Apt Pupil, it is that the film is middly in love with itself - becoming especially drawn out near the end. Some might also find the ending a bit anticlimatic. Overall though, you wan't be disappointed - and might even develop a tendency to gaze a bit longer than usual at the next old man you see on a bus.Movie Review: Impressive acting, suspensful & thrilling plot

I was truly blown away after I finished watching this movie. Of course Ian's performance was great, but Brad Renfro stole the show. He has come a long way since playing Mark Sway in the Client. Yes, the subject matter in Apt Pupil was disturbing, but it provided a valuable history lesson for me. I higjly recommebd this film.Movie Review: An totally fab film

This is one of the best films that I have ever seen. This film goes where other films fear to go. It explores the idea that we are all inherently evil, or capable of evil, given the proper change or circumstances. It is a psychological thriller. That deals with the human psyche. It does justice to King's novel.
