Movie Review: humorous,exciting adventure that thoroughly entertains!

i tore into my dvd this morning, the moment it arrived, and i was enchanted! the colors, on dvd, were brilliant-the ac3 digital sound was incredible! woddy allen gives one of his best performances in years, and even sly can be clearly understood. all in all, a remarkable achievement from the dreamworks factory again. it's awesome fun and so fast moving you will wonder where the minutes went. a true delight from start to finish, i strongly recommend it for all viewers-too darn good just for the kids.Movie Review: Much better than Disney's attempt

A fairy tale for adults (note that, it may be important later) that is charming and whimsical.A shame it was released at the same time as the Disney bug movie- no one can compete with the Disney marketing machine. A real shame, since this one has twice the intelligence.
A star-studded cast and surprisingly dynamic animation add to the picture. Besides, when was the last time a film respected your intellect enough to crack a joke about Marxism?
Movie Review: More than a kid's movie

Antz has deep social issues within the movie. It follows the life of an embattled ant named Z (notice the name choice to signify the "last") and his struggle to break free from the grips of structured society. The hidden meanings are very deep and the animation and the acting are top-notch as well. This movie is not only for kids. Adults should watch it as well, and learn a thing or two about rising above the crowd. Highly recommended.Movie Review: Outstanding Entertainment and Computer Animation!

A++ for a great DVD! The computer animation really showed through in sparkling detail and the digital dolby audio was great! The director's comentary is one of the neatest features about this DVD. This film was aimed more at adults than children which may have made its marketing campaign a little misleading. I'm not a big fan of Woody Allen, but I did enjoy his performance as Z, and with the rest of the all-star cast, this film couldn't go wrong!Movie Review: Antz: Simply fANTastic.

The movie was realy cool but you all know that. I thought that the entire DVD package of goodies was superb. All of those featurettes were excelent. There were a lot of interesting notes and video clips explaining the complex world of CG. As a teacher of Graphic Design, I found the information fascinating and insightful./ A must have DVD. Oh yea, my kids realy loved it as well. 90 minutes without any bickering.. more than worth the cost.
