Movie Review: This movie covers every gay fable, myth or rumour of just about everything in the gay wikpedia of life.
Summary: 5 Stars
I don't often write reviews, but I felt I had to put my two cents in. It's so easy to buy a bad gay movie these days. Never buy a DVD by it's cover. I always wait for the customer reviews on Amazon to find out if it's good or not. Make sure there are lots of reviews (minimum 30) with no less than 3.5 stars on average. So I felt I had to let customers know that this movie is good, so it can start building a good review history.
"Another Gay Movie" is just plain funny... and silly. It really is a gay "American Pie" type movie, which was crude too, but was very popular with the audiences none the less, (as I'm sure this one will be too).
The acting was good... no one was lacking in talent. All the characters were likeable (well maybe not Richard Hatch)! This movie covers every gay fable, myth or rumour of just about everything in the gay wikpedia of life (gerbaling, water sports, BDSM, vanilla to Belgian chocolate, Paul Lynde, Betty Davis, bubble butts, Mommy Dearest, toilet trading, over douching, pumps). You name it and the movie made fun of it.
The cinematography was good, considering this movie is low budget. The characters lived in over colour/color saturated Brady Bunch Bungalow houses (a la "Edward Scissorhands"). It's hard to believe the movie was shot in 16 days. These are some very hard working people who made this film!
If you enjoy comedy... and you want to spend an evening having a good laugh, then buy this movie. You won't regret it. It's now in my top 10 best gay movies ever!

Movie Review: funny/raunchy/sexy and just a downright blast

we dont even need to go into it too much but the movie revolves around 4 gay guys that havent quite gotten the sex thing down yet..failing miserably at each try to rectify this. they make a pact to get laid before the summer is over and this is where the drama, excitement, sex and all the over great things about this movie. I love it in every sense of the word and its great to have a movie like this to enjoy this movie for what it is. A gay comedy revolving around 4 guys and getting laid yes, its been done before, and yes some may have done it better.
But i dont know of too many that have done it like the cast, directors, actors and everyone else involved in another gay movie...with guest spots gallor including Richard Hatch (Survivor), Lipsynka to name a couple along with an excellent soundtrack. Another Gay Movie is anything but another it does like no other and i hope they bring us more of these four guys and the girl that gets any and everyone that comes her way and the freaky weird but cute professor. Love it all and hope for more!!
Movie Review: Best Comedy Film Ever!

"Another Gay Movie" is simply entertaining and extremely funny. The movie is not suppose to be Academy Award winning material, but an outlandish spoof of teenage comedies with a gay angle. The acting is great, the guys are hot, and the jokes are a mile a minute. Everyone associated with this film should be proud of the work they did in it. Not only did they have the balls to make this film, but they had the talent to pull it off. Comedy is even harder to make than drama. Jonathan Chase steals the movie with his wonderful acting and handsome good looks and director writer Todd Stephens is a true genius! The sex scenes are hot too. The movie looks and feels very Southern Californian which makes it great to watch when it's a cold winter day outside. And if you simply wanna have fun and laugh your head off this is the movie to watch. The extras are great with the theatrical trailor, interviews with some of the cast and crew, and a reading of the stage play. This will be a true classic. I saw this movie in September and I laughed so hard throughout that I left the theatre with a headache and sore throat. Yes, it is over the top. That's precisely the point. It is one long, hard inside joke. It holds up to a mirror every silly thing we do in this big bell-curve of a gay community in our pursuit of lust and dares us to treat it all as anything other than hysterical. In this, Todd Stephens functions as the Metatron from Dogma, making sarcastic observations on the human condition while we look up with stupid expressions on our faces in mid-coitis. Not to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but the movie is unrated because there is material that would likely render it an "X" rating under the current guidelines.
A polemic for or against gay rights it is not. It is low comedy at its best. Approach it with that in mind and you will have aching sides by the end. A howling good time.
Movie Review: brilliant cast, brilliant theme, in fact really brilliant

At last a gay spoof that captures just about every gay related theme,including all the gay urban myths we have all heard or told growing up gay! All the cast are brilliant and i take my hat off to James (boy meets boy)for playing such a great character and baring all for all us fans of B M B!
The movie is slick, funny, beautifully produced with amazing sets that totally compliment the hilliarious scenes that unfold with each new storyline. This is a film to watch with all your gay mates, you will laugh and cry, howl and hoot along with all the hillarious and embarassing moments that unfold and remind you of your own similar experiences.
It's great to be able to laugh and even better to be able to laugh at our selves. I CAN'T WAIT! FOR THE SEQUEL!
