Movie Review: SPOOF PROOF
Summary: 5 Stars
If you'd like to see and hear Billy Crystal at the top of his game, while Robert De Niro does a terrific parody of some of his previous roles, go no further. This movie has something for everyone, including a very hip score, as well as a surprise appearance by Tony Bennette. Try to beat that combination for some entertainment on a chilly night in front of the television, along with a fire in your fireplace, a glass of Champagne and a bowl of popcorn, shared by the one you love.

Movie Review: De Niro Rules
Summary: 5 Stars
Yes, he is the greatest actor of our time. Drama, tragedy, action, and comedy. This is a whoopin' and hollerin' movie that will be enjoyed for a long time. He and Crystal are perfect together. Reminiscent of the pairing of De Niro and Grodin in Midnight Run in that the chemistry is perfect. Extra added bonuses on this DVD: wonderful outtakes and two movie-length commentaries. One by Crystal and De Niro; the other by Harold Ramis, who really knows how to direct a comedy.Movie Review: Very Funny - but someone kill Lisa Kudrow

This film is hilarious. It borrows from all the gangster themes and really works as a comedy with an original story with elements of a spoof too. Crystal and DeNiro are superb, as are the supporting cast of gangsters. However, who cast Lisa Kudrow in this? She has shown yet again that the only role she can play is Phoebe. Her part is small but she still manages to be just as annoying as always. Really out of her depth in this company.Movie Review: Best Adult Comedy of 1999

From the very beginning to the last moment, this movie provides consistent laughs, with each one louder than the last. De Niro does a brilliant job of lampooning himself, but major kudos go to Crystal, who finally gets out of his funk to deliver the best role he's had since the first "City Slickers." Watch for the "Godfather" dream sequence, and the church scene after that. An instant classic...
Movie Review: Hysterical!

The people who do NOT think this film is funny are the same people who take themselves and LIFE entirely too seriously! This is a great comedy that does what it set out to do... entertain. It was fun to see DeNiro in a comedy and to see that he has such great comedic timing and talent. Crystal is his usual funny self as well, and the two blend beautifully. Buy the movie... it's one you can watch over and over again.
