Movie Review: Great 80s action flick!

Considering that "American Ninja" was made for around $1 million (which was still cheap in 1985) and shot in under 30 days, I would be curious if it could be done today. Director Sam Firstenberg infuses a mediocre story with heart-pumping action to make the audience forget about any holes in the story, and just enjoy the film for what it is: an 80s action-flick. This is a popcorn movie. It you love 80s action movies, then this one is not to miss! The silent Joe Armstrong (Michael Dudikoff) minds his own business until soldiers start bugging him. Well, he puts a bucket on his head and uses a hose to flip around Jackson (Steve James). Pure ninja. He fights all kinds of ninjas in warehouses and a complex place. An ultimate ninja with a scar on his face tries to fight the "American Ninja," but he gets sliced. This movie is one of the best Ninja movies I ever seen despite being a B movie at best. Ninjas and fight scenes look pretty legit and locations for movie were cool too. I really liked the plot and story line as well. I believe this to be Mr. Dudikoff's best work. If you hold any interests in Ninjas check this one out.Movie Review: Kick-[behind] Action Movie
