I have been waiting for this to come out on dvd. I first saw this movie with my best friend and we both agreed that it was delightful. We had often talked about our own fantasies in our favorite books and could really relate to both the heroine and her "author". THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE COMEDY, ROMANTIC ESCAPE MOVIE. I WISH I COULD ESCAPE LIKE THIS FOR REAL. I'VE HAD IT IN VHS FORMAT FOR A LONG TIME AND JUST ABOUT WORE OUT THE TAPE. This is absolutely one of my favorite movies. I could watch it over and over. And now it's been passed to the next generation, my kids love it too. Jobeth Williams is excellent. Since this is one of my all time favorite movies, I was delighted to finally be able to purchase it on DVD! I absolutely love this movie! Even though I know what is going to happen, I laugh every time I watch it again.
JoBeth Williams and Tom Conti are delightful in it.
