Movie Review: Good Nazi, Bad Nazi
Summary: 5 Stars
Very interesting film.
Historically, the plot is very plausible. The outstanding majority of those in the Waffen SS were not Nazis, nor did they support the Nazi Party. This movie makes the point that Germans joined this elite organization to fight for Germany, not Adolf Hitler.
And our hero is shocked by the Nazi atrocities, and (thinking it must be lower members of the Nazi Party doing this) wants them stopped.
But at the end of the war, Eisenhower branded all members of the SS to be criminals, and were to be treated as such. Our hero was no criminal.

Even though this movie has some mistakes in it, it's shows what when't on,and people in power did nothing when they were told about the murder of the Jewish people.
And how those same people helped those Germen lowe lifes escape, and let the man who tried to save Jewish lives, rot in a prison for 20 years.
I am not to grazy about Costa-Gravas, but he did an excelent job showing the world how most of the free worlds goverments and the Vatican did not give a dam, I was there and have seen the results.

John Paul II and Benedict XVI made multiple powerful statements that the Iraq War is unjust. Nonetheless, many Catholics are unaware of this in the US as US church leaders fear losing memberships and even student enrollments as some members earn their income from participating in the violence.Movie Review: The slap in the two lips!

Are you able to reconsider the role of the Christian Church after this abominable fact in the WW?
The historical roots are rigorous . Costa Gavras has always been a very minucious director and hardly makes a bad film .
Watch this film and then think it over , over and over .

Movie Review: Outstanding Film

Winston Churchill once said that "the only thing necessary for evil to exist, is for good men to do nothing"... Well directed, well acted, and an outstanding story of courage and faith.
This is not your ordinary holocaust film. The holocaust is really just the backdrop to this struggle and is pivotal in catapulting the story to the viewer.
A real must see film!
