Movie Reviews of All Dogs Go to HeavenMovie Review: In a dog's eye, two big paws way up in the air. Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not much of a critic but I'll say as much as I can without ruining the movie. Tell you the truth, I won't say much being a lot of people already told you the story line of the movie. All I can say is, this is one movie you don't really want a little kid to see, alone. Plus, it gets into gang life, or what'll happen if you were to get into a gang and you were to do something to one of the members. Another thing I will say, I will recommend that you should buy/rent it just to see for yourself. Reviews from movie watchers are better then those from movie critics.
Movie Review: one of my favorites Summary: 5 Stars
All Dogs Go to Heaven is absolutely one of my all time favs. as a kid growing up. This movie made me love dogs even more, lol. seeing this movie for this price just made it even better to buy now. I have a 13 month old daughter, and i wanted to have a lot of the old cartoon movies i loved as a kid. This movie was on top of that list. Im sure most people have already seen this movie, but for those of you that haven't this movie is one to grab right away.I loved it as a kid, and i love it even more as an adult. All i have to say is GET THIS Review: GREAT SERIES of DVD... ALL Dogs... Summary: 5 Stars
Overall the DVD was good and very much appropriate for young children. However, after a couple of weeks it had fallen to the back of his preference list. We've not watched it in over a year now. I guess this isn't so different from any other DVD we have.
I would recommend this for young children. It does have quite a few concepts that are not appropriate, but are presented in a way that is way over the heads of children adn does have a few scenes that very concervative parents may term violent.
Movie Review: A Childhood Favorite, however... Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this DVD from the $5 bin at Wal*Mart, the film being a favorite of mine during my childhood. I am disappointed to say that the first few minutes of the film are absent from the DVD. The first sequence (in which Itchy busts Charlie from the dog pound) is nowhere to be found. I do hope that this fault is not present on all copies of the movie on DVD.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I would like to purchase a copy of the film in its entirety.
Movie Review: A Movie for Older Children and People Wanting Something Else Summary: 5 Stars
As several other reviewers have said, this is not a movie for young children or people who want perky, cheerful movies. There are 2 things that you should be aware of before letting children under the age of 6 or 7 watch this: 1) There is a haunting nightmare showing the depths of Hell. 2) There is a scene where Charlie is shot at with a machine gun. This was one of my favorite animated movies, and if you give it a chance, you might really like it.
