Movie Review: Stunning true story of survival against all odds! Powerful!

You think you're having a 'bad day'? Check out this awesome and moving film based on a true event in 1972. It will surely put things in perspective. This is a well-done, gut-wrenching movie about survival and the human spirit and will to live. The scenery is breathtaking, and the plane crash sequence incredible. Since original survivors were consulted for this film, the scenes are very realistic and accurate. One of the best survival movies ever, hands down!Movie Review: Alive

This movie will keep you alive! Hanging on the edge of your seat-although you know they made it out, you still wonder! HOW! And everything that had to endure on that mountain is beyong words! My family has watched this movie many times over and each time, we learn something different from it.
It is one I strongly recommend! My entire family has watched it, so I'm not sure where the R rating comes from, but I must say, it is a great movie!

Unsurmountable odds, defying forces of nature, dying hope of the human spirit. This movie showcases the incredible power of the human mind that surpasses any odds it thinks it can. When money is burned as fuel, toothpaste is treated like gold, only then do we realise the presence of God and his amazing grace. Inspiring and captivating! The scenes are so real looking, it seems as if the whole tragedy was taped and we are watching it! Amazing that they were strong enough to endure through such a hardship! The crash happened 38 years ago today, the same day that the Chilean miners are being rescued! WOW! R.I.P. to all of the people who lost their lives in such a horrible tragedy!
