Movie Review: Relatively scary whodunit
Summary: 4 Stars
This 1979 film is famous mostly for a brief appearance by Brooke Shields
as a preteen sister of Alice. The question concerns whether Alice is
the murderer of her younger sister, and if not, who? Some good scares
along the way, but because the answer is revealed well before the end,
the suspense is undercut, and the ending, while okay, is not as good as
this type of film requires to be top-notch. Still, worth a look if you
like this genre.
