This is actually just one of many of the movies the National Combat History Archive has released. They contain never before seen footage and it's quite well done. Interesting movie for those who seek out WWII info.

Over 90 min of rarely before seen interviews documentaries war footage and more from private libraries of veterans from WWII. This action packed and stunning DVD contains the following programs: "Great War Birds of WWII" - The Mustang Thunderbolt Lightening and Warhawk were some of the greatest planes to fly in WWII. Flying in every theater of the war they met and defeated the best the enemy could fly against them. This film details the role and exploits of these great war birds of the skies. "P-38 Flight Characteristics" - With its unusual design and twin engines the P-38 was one of the most recognizable fighters of WWII. While skeptics wondered the value of this ungainly plane it quickly validated itself as being one of the most effective fighters regardless of nationality of WWII. "Collecting and reporting enemy Activity" - Ariel reconnaissance played a key role in interdicting and destroying enemy troop movements and supply depots. This production details an air unit as it conducts its operations in the Pacific Theater of operations.
