Movie Review: A Special Edition please!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Air Force One is one of my favorite action movie.. The movie was great and exciting but I think the dvd is a little outdated when compared to other dvd's these days as it does not have any special bonus features. The only thing good about it is the commentary from director Wolfgang Peterson who provides several insights on the making of the movie in the commentary. I think that it is time the studio release a special edition 2 disc dvd set of the movie. I would definitely love to see a behind the scenes look at the movie. Such as how they did the accurate looking set for the plane etc.. Maybe some deleted scenes if there were any. Common Sony pictures! Bring out the special edition already!!!!

Summary of Air Force One [Blu-ray]

UK Import Blu-Ray Region All pressing. Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman star in this action/adventure directed by Wolfgang Peterson. The President (Ford) and his staff are in jeopardy when a band of Russian terrorists (led by Oldman) hijack Air Force One in mid-flight. But this is no ordinary president, my friends: this is Harrison Ford! So, do the Russians succeed in the dastardly plot or does President Indiana Jones take them down? You have to watch it and see... Buena Vista.

You know that old dramatic principle of suspension of disbelief? You'll have to rely on it for this box-office smash, but you won't be disappointed. Harrison Ford plays a U.S. president who single-handedly employs his rigid antiterrorism policy when a band of Russian thugs hatch a mid-flight takeover of Air Force One. Gary Oldman, who chews the scenery as the lead terrorist, will shoot a hostage at the slightest provocation. Glenn Close plays the sternly pragmatic vice president who negotiates with Oldman from her Washington seat of power. If you can believe that the aircraft's pressurized cabin can sustain hundreds of rounds of machine-gun fire, you'll buy anything in this entertaining potboiler, especially thanks to Ford's stalwart heroics and some nifty special effects. Director Wolfgang Petersen (Das Boot) keeps the action moving so fast you won't be sweating the details. Don't forget your parachute! --Jeff Shannon
