Movie Review: For Political Junkies & Conspriracy Buffs
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very long film, but it was so good that I didn't have to use the Fast Forward button at all. In a weird way it seems to promote McCarthyism, anti-gay stereotypes and Southern recalcitrance. Yet, it still has enought great stars, fine acting and suspense to carry the day. The book was a sensation when it first came out and the movie does a good job of conveying that excitement. Highly recommended for viewers of all political stripes. Put me in the same frame of mind as "The Manchurian Candidate"--for its portrayal of the imagined dark side of American politics in the 1960's.

My Dad was visiting, and of course we watched "God is my Co-pilot". It was on VHS and the quality had diminished. It was a great movie. Since Father's day and his birthday was coming up, that was an idea to get a better copy. As we were talking, he mention "Advise and Consent", I was able to add that to the list. He was very happy and when I go to visit him, I hope to see it myself. Thanks for the great service!!! Moreover the was very affordable since my income is extremely limited at this time.

Probably the best political movie ever made. It shows clearly what happens in our Congress and the things that happen when the Senate is asked to Advise and Consent. I don't miss flick.
