Movie Reviews of Adventures in Babysitting

Movie Review: I grew up with it, so will my kids!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie was huge when I was a child in the 80s. It became a staple in my house then (yes, on BetaMax in those days) and is still a staple now in the 21st century! Funny and entertaining plot and actors without tons of horrible language or situations. I think the only possiblity for negative feedback would be the reference to Playboy magazine in part of it. No swearing or nudity.. very wholesome family movie! I still watch it (despite the fact that I have it memorized now) and still enjoy it immensely! Definately buy this one! :) A++++!

Movie Review: L.O.V.E it alot never gets old to me
Summary: 5 Stars

Loved it , an absolute classic
Elizabeth Shue gives an awesome performance, including the classic lip-sync in the opening scene. George Newbern is the 'knight in shining armor' - we could hardly believe when he was then the groom in 'Father of the Bride'. Penelope Ann Miller - another classic performance, great one liners. And you gotta love when Elizabeth Shue sings the blues! Also great performance by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes in the frat house scene. Definitely one to make you smile!

Movie Review: Best Babysitting Movie Ever!!
Summary: 5 Stars

When Chris Parker's (Elizabeth Shue) boyfriend Mike Todwell (Bradley Whitford) cancels their date. Now Chris is stuck babysitting the Anderson kids (Maia Brewton & Keith Coogan) and their friend Daryl (Anthony Rapp) She's settled for a wild night when Brenda (Penelope Ann Miller) calls her and says she's marooned at the train station with some very seedy characters (Vincent D'Onofrio & John Chandler). So Chris, Daryl, Sara, and Brad set out to rescue her in this adventure that will send laughter to everybody!!

Movie Review: Best Movie Ever!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Elizabeth Shue shines in this film. She plays Chris Parker, the babysitter of Brad,Sarah, and Brad's friend Darryl (Stray Dog). They go into downtown Chicago to rescue Chri's friend Brenda from the wild streets since he foolishly ran away from home. It's one mishap after another from car jackers hunting them for a Playboy to gang fights on the subway to a college frat party. The best part of the movie is when they sing the 'Babysitting Blues'. Everyone needs to see this film. It's hilarious.

Movie Review: I wish
Summary: 5 Stars

By the comedy standards of today - this is genius, this is magic, this is all that film needs to be. Ok Leonard Maltin - it is not Gone With the Wind. It was not meant to be. It is charming, fun, and reminds me of my youth. And I believe it can still appeal to the youth of today, tomorrow and yesterday. What other movie can feature the line - "Don't ---- with the babysitter" and stay warm in a 20-something's heart? I love it. Chances are all non-maltins will too.
