This is definitely a good ab workout, especially for intermediate exercisers. I run about 4 miles every other day, and I use this alongside Billy's "Favorite Moves" in between running days. The ab workout is 30 minutes long, and there's a lot of focus on your waist. There are moves for your lower and upper abs too, but it's definitely waist-intensive. Most of the moves are done standing up which is a HUGE plus for me because I hate ab moves that put any strain whatsoever on my neck. Unlike Billy's Bootcamp videos, this ab workout does NOT require any extra equipment whatsoever--just a soft floor.

I've been doing Taebo for a long time and normally hate his ab stuff. In other videos that I own, I feel like his ab work gets a little out of control when he has you pick up the pace. Not to mention, Billy can be a little uneven in his counting. This workout is completely different. It's a slower paced workout that makes you focus on what you're doing. Even though it doesn't have a cardio element to it, I still manage to sweat because you're so focused on the moves it takes a lot of strenght and concentration. Of all the ab workouts I've done, this is the best so far.

It took me forever to figure out the right formula for an effective ab work out; it is a combination of diet, aerobic exercise, and specific movements that target ab muscles. This DVD will provide you with the second and third elements, while the 7 day meal plan will jump start your diet. I cheated and didn't diet but started to see results in only 4 weeks which motivated me to go on a diet plan. Make this DVD part of your workout routine, and you won't regret it. If you want to really challenge yourself, you can use the bender ball with these exercises.
Movie Review: Perfect for moms! Summary: 5 Stars
For all of the moms trying to get their pre-baby body back this is the workout for you! I used to be a faithful Firm follower. I started doing this one when my daughter was about 7 months old, about 4-5 times per week. By the time she was 10 months I was able to wear a bikini and look good in it, and I wasn't even on any special diet. This is a great combo of cardio and muscle toning and is only 35 minutes long. Learning to perfect the moves can be a little hard on your back initially, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with lower back trouble.
Movie Review: Challenging and doable! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not very coordinated or balanced so I find a lot of workouts impossible to do for me...this one was very doable and yet challenging. I could definitely feel the burn and had to take a break at some points because it was definitely tough! It's great for me that it's 30 minutes because I'm a stay at home mom with a baby and a toddler. I did it while the baby was napping and my toddler enjoyed trying to join in! I also love the personality and approach of Billy. It really feels like he's talking directly to me like a personal coach.
