Movie Reviews of AC/DC - Live at DoningtonMovie Review: Best Damned Concert Summary: 5 Stars
When this video was released way back in the nineties, I ran to the store to buy it. After seeing countless other concert videos since, I still say this is the absolute best live show you can find on DVD. The photography is beautiful, the editing is a good mix of band/audience footage, the sound quality beats anything, and come on, it's AC/DC--no other band could ever compare to these guys live! I've waited for this to come out on DVD for over a decade!
Movie Review: Best Rock DVD I have ever seen !! Summary: 5 Stars
This is undoubtedly the best Rock DVD I have ever seen. I was a big Bon Scott fan, and never gave ACDC any airtime after Brian Johnson came onboard - until seeing this DVD. This concert is a gem. It captures Angus at his absolute best, and it captures the spirit of what ACDC is all about. I recommend you get the wife and kids out of the house, get a few mates and a few beers going, hook up the surround sound and crank up the volume. It is a ripsnorter !!
Movie Review: The # 1 band in the world Summary: 5 Stars
I read a lot of reviews before getting this DVD and wasn't sure if I should get it or not but glad that I did! I don't play the guitar and a lot of others say that this DVD was over dubbed and I couldn't tell and really don't care because it sounded so awesome in on surround sound! AC/DC clicks together like no other band ever and this is recommended for any AC/DC fan or anyone who is just getting into AC/DC! They will never Review: One of the greatest concerts of all-time! Summary: 5 Stars
This dvd is a must have for any AC/DC fan, it is packed with about 2 hours of great performances and has a bit of commentary from Angus and Malcolm Young. Some of the best performances on the dvd include: Thunderstruck, MoneyTalks, High Voltage, Whole Lotta Rosie, You shook me all night long, Highway to Hell and For those about to rock (we salute you). Once you buy this dvd you'll be glad you did, it's worth every penny.
Movie Review: The Thunder From Down Under Blow The Castle To Smithereens Summary: 5 Stars
AC/DC is bar none one of the finest live acts I've ever seen, and "AC/DC Live At Donington" is proof of this. This is one of the most lively, energetic shows I've ever seen. The band is simply on fire. Each of the 18 performances look and sound great, and command your attention.
This new dvd also comes equipped with audio commentary from Angus and Malcolm Young. It is a dvd that belongs in your collection.
