Movie Review: Blown Away

This review will be simple and straight to the point.
Call up some friends. Have them come over with beer and whiskey. Turn the stereo up to ten. Rock your flippin' brains out. This DVD performance is great.
I was blown away. For close to two hours, AC/DC tore the stage apart. There was no down time. There were no ballads. This was hard rock from opening to closing.
The audio is excellent The visuals are also excellent. This concert was well filmed and recorded.
"Live at Donington" sits proudly amongst my collection of live performance DVDs.
Rock fans will not be disappointed. Buy this performance.

This DVD is a MUST HAVE for any fan of AC/DC! What a performance by all, especially Angus. The guitar solos alone are worth the price of the DVD, this guy is FANTASTIC! All of the wanna-be guitar players of the world will want to see these fantastic licks and riffs. The audio and video quality of this DVD is superb, the camera always seems to be in the right place all through the video. If you really want to see AC/DC in one of their finest concerts, don't pass this one up! I have watched this DVD several times and I'm simply amazed each time I watch it. It has a tendency to make you flex your thigh muscles to the beat throughout every song. Well, I guess that's a GOOD thing. This has to be one of the best rock performances in history. My God, just watch Thunderstruck and the way the crowd moves as one. This is my 3rd favorite video, with #2 being Billy Squire Live In The Dark and #1 being Roger Waters In The Flesh Live.
Oh, CHICAGO Live at the Greek ain't to shabby either.
ACDC Live at Donington is a must-have DVD. It will rock your socks off (from all that thigh muscle twitching you will do!)

I am 35, and I have been an AC-DC fan for 25 years ever since I borrowed my brother's cassette for Back in Black, this DVD has most of the best of the band and in a Live stage in front of a huge crowd which adds up to the extra addrenalin boost you are going to receive when purchasing this DVD. Panoramic scenes and takes, light show but best of all the performance and sound are very good for this production. I could be watching this DVD everyday, actually I do. This is what I wake up daily to and you should to. The whole band still rock like always.Movie Review: Great gift for AC/DC fans!

I got this DVD as a gift for Christmas this year (among other things). I have been a fan of the band for years. They ARE Rock n' Roll. This is an incredible concert, and very well filmed. The music ROCKS!!! The set list is great, and the sound quality is top notch. The DVD also has some really cool features such as commentary by Malcolm and Angus Young themselves. AC/DC played an incredible gig, and you can watch this concert over and over. So glad I got it, and I am definitely looking forward to jammin' out time and time again!.
