Movie Review: the REAL killer is BACK~ Rip Torn is excellent~ good movie
Summary: 5 Stars
PLOT: based on the Mary Higgins Clark bestseller~ a young girl witnesses the brutal killing of her mother and 7 years later the same girl is kidnapped.
a young girl witnesses the brutal murder of her mother and the killer photograph's his "trophy kill" and the girl who saw it occur. 7 years later as the killer is due to BE EXECUTED~ a UPDATED NEWS STORY has the "real killer" back to kidnap the girl Julie (Shawn Von Schrieber) and Kate Mulgrew~ and "stash" them in the dungeon like room below GRAND CENTRAL STATION~ WE see the TV repair logo on the side of the van so we know the KILLER is good with electronics who eventually builds a "bomb" to get rid of the evidence (the two women)~ a very good escape attempt has the KILLER chasing the two between subway trains. ADD the homeless people and endless rats and the errie terror is very good~ before video camera surveillance the KILLER is very successfull at his game. RIP TORN is excellent as the psycho NUT killer who talks about his plans using the "ransom" to buy a horse ranch cause he loves "horses" which adds to the bizarre killers plans. GREAT thrills and well cast moves along very well.
I GIVE IT 5 STARS FOR PLOT AND OUTSTANDING RIP TORN PERFORMANCE.

Summary of A Stranger Is Watching
They don't see him but he's there. A stranger is watching; plotting; planning; and anticipating every move they make. Then he strikes. The kidnapper is a remorseless psychopath who wants to collect a ransom then murder his captives. Kate Mulgrew is heartrendingly believable as the reporter and Rip Torn gives a harrowing performance as the kidnapper in this nightmarish shocker based on the Mary Higgins Clark suspense novel and directed by Sean S. Cunningham (Friday the 13th).
