Movie Reviews of A Man Called HorseMovie Review: History of Native American Life Summary: 5 Stars
Being a history teacher, I needed a movie that would depict realistic Native American life for a Texas history unit. I remembered this movie
from my youth and what an impact it made on the nation. My students are not exposed to those great epic movies of yesterday. This film is an accurate accounting of everyday village life of the Sioux. It truly is a
historical classic with superb acting from Richard Harris and others. It is a must see and one for our children to view in their studies of Native Americans.
Movie Review: Highly Entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
I go to the movies to be entertained, and to school for history lessons. It is true that this movie is not historically accurate or representative of the real Lakota people in any way. But it is fool of action, suspense, and Color. I don't know of any Historical representations on films, that did anything more than entertain, and in some cases such as myself, arouse the desire to learn more about the factual people and situations depicted. I loved this movie.
Movie Review: a man called horse revisited... Summary: 5 Stars
I really enjoyed it when I had seen it for the first time years ago and seeing it again was just as good. Quality films only get better over time and one comes to truly appreciate them especially in these times of less than quality movie making. Richard Harrison did a wonderful job and I feel that the content was excellent as well. I should also remind the reader that I am not a movie critic hence please take what I write with a grain of salt.

Recieved it just a few days after purchasing it. What an incredible movie, of courage , and strength, and perserverance. A really great movie. Placed in the wild early frontier. Brings out each emotion of anger, fear, revenge, love, compassion, courage, understanding, and hope.
