Movie Reviews of A Guy ThingMovie Review: Don't Care About the General 3-Star Rating. I Laughed My Kiester Off, and That's That! Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, so lots of people didn't like this movie to the degree that I did. Admittedly, I love Julia Stiles even in the worst films. News, you guys, this isn't the worst film. I watch it at least once a month because it's just that funny!
Who doesn't love a man whose male friends are giving him all the worst advice, ends up in the most hilarious situations, and comes out all the better for doing the RIGHT thing? Where are these guys when I need them? Jason Lee is funny, bumbling, and attractive as all hell for that very reason. His character Paul has a conscience, and Lord love him for it. Beside that, he fell for Becky(Julia Stiles), and let his brother have the fiancee'(Selma Blair, who is cute, smart, and quirky) who likes a horrible song like the putrid "Islands in the Stream." Ugh, let them have each other.
Key funny moments? Far too many, but I love the crab medicine deal in the drugstore(reminds me of the time my grandma asked very loudly if I had enough Kotex!), the underwear bin mess, and the lie about the dreadlock mugger. I love this movie, can't stop laughing each time I watch it, and I pity people who look too deep into romantic comedies anyway. What I say is dig what floats your boat, and this one makes me quite happy to hoist my sail. It's fun, and that's all I expect from it!
Movie Review: Incredible Summary: 5 Stars
First of all i want to point out something that is really disturbing me. You know that movie, My Boss's Daughter. Well go search for it here on amazon and look at the cover than come back to this page and look at the cover of A guy THing, notice anything similiar? Except that old guy in the background instead of Selma Blair. Anyway this movie was one of the best movies I ever saw. Even though I only saw two Jason Lee movies (this and Dreamctacher) he is one of my favorite actors. Even if he's not doing a funny scene you still laugh, and in all his movies he is doing a comedy part even though its not a comedy movie. To really enjoy movies you have to stop trying to be an ass andwatch the movie without trying to make a bad reviwe about it, and if your gonna do that anyway why make a page long bad review? i thought u dont like the movie, than stop going to every stie u can find it on and critiscize it. I love the characters in this movie. And how if u put urself in any of thier positions you know u would do the same. this is a hilarious move watch it, buy it, watch it again, buy it two times if you want, its that great!

This movie is very funny.
Paul and his girlfriend are getting married and Paul's friends throw him a bachelor party with hookers. Paul gets really drunk, and the next morning wakes up with one of the girls in his bed. He throws her out of his apartment thinking he will never see her again.
Several days later he goes to his fiences house for dinner and as it turns out the girl in his bed is his fience's cousin. He keeps on bumping into her and also trys not to let his fience know what happened.
As the big day draws near Paul finds himself more attracted to his fiences cousin, but feels that he has to go on with the wedding. What happens? well just watch the movie and find out
Movie Review: Guy Thing Summary: 5 Stars
This is a well done romantic comedy about a chap who is going to marry a "safe' attractive girl approved by the fam but falls for a wilder one who is spontaneous, full of life and of course cannot hold a job. The problem is that she is a cousin of the chick he plans to marry.
My first copy of this film went bad so this is a replacement so it must be pretty good.
The flick has numerous hillarious scenes including one involving two of the main characters being trapped in a shower-bathtub by a snarling attack dog.
Movie Review: Did I See The Same Movie As The Rest Of The Critics? Summary: 5 Stars
I though this movie was very funny. I read these comments, like predictible, and wonder what these people expect? Citizen Kane? It's a comedy that was surprising enough to have me laughing out loud a few times and when I wasn't laughing, I was at least smiling. This film is a hundred times better then Just Married or Anger Management, yet there seems to be this negative buzz about it. Maybe the "guy thing" bits are a little too un-PC for some viewers but to me it's what a comedy should be: a good time.
