Movie Review: Timeless
Summary: 5 Stars
I love the Eastwood spaghetti westerns, so I knew I'd enjoye re-visiting this classic. Clint Eastwood is the mysterious cowboy who drifts into town. When he rides into the little border town of San Miguel, he finds he's right in the middle of two feuding groups of bandits who terrorize the town's people. Clint pretends to work for each faction, collecting their money while he plays both sides against one another. While they're trying to kill each other, Clint rakes in the profits.

A Fistful of Dollars is the second in Sergio Leone's spaghetti western movies about the "Man with No Name" following For A Few Dollars More . This series more than any other, in my opinion, launched Clint Eastwood into the World wide spotlight.
Recommended for Eastwood fans and fans of the spaghetti western genre.

In the US Clint Eastwood does not have the legendary reputation of artistic merit as he does in Europe. If you watch this film closely, you see greatness not just in Clint but for Sergio Leone, the director, whose film-making transformed the Western film genre.
Or just enjoy this now classic film on its own merit as a timeless great--yet grim--Western.

now im in my late 20s suddenly all those westerns i hated watching with my grandpa seem like the greatest movies ever made i find myself sitting in my chair having a beer watching westerns during the day this like hang em high is a classic eastwood western and belongs in your collection understood punk?
