Movie Review: A Good Movie
Summary: 5 Stars
A very good christmas movie that for some would help to heal the lose of a loved one. Being miliary I was very much impressed with the patriotism of the movie although I was somewhat embarrass by the appearance of the main characters son in a flashblack showing him leaving with his uniform on. I couldn't believe the way he was wearing his beret. My first thought was here's and staff sergeant and his beret looks like he just left the pizza house. Other than that the rest of the movie was very good and will be watch yearly with the rest of our christmas movies.Movie Review: Fatastic Family Movie!

William Devane was fantastic in this movie, as usual! The movie has it all...drama,intrigue, excitement, tears, humor, romance, patrioticsm and the Christmas Spirit! Although a little predictable, it is still a wonderful movie the entire family can watch! It isn't often you see a movie that leaves you with a good feeling in your heart!!!! This is one of those movies! A great movie to see anytime, not just at Christmas! Without being "smarmy," this film deals gently with a grieving family's return to celebrating Christmas when a "stranger" enters their lives. It's a moving story with some interesting twists. I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it. Not wanting to ruin anything but you have to see it for yourself. A family's struggle with the ultimate sacrifice their son gave for his Country. Each of the characters face their own dilemma and as time goes they turn to each other for comfort and support.
Tears will be abundant not only in the movie but with the viewer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This was an excellent movie. I had read the book first and the book covered a lot more, but the movie was moving and made you wonder at the end what really happened to help this family. I do not want to say more as I would not want to ruin it for anyone. I do recommend you read the book first because the movie enhances the book, especially the ending. William Devane does a fantastic job as the father.
