This movie is a classic and a must see for all nostalgia fans that remember the 1950's growing up,also those younger will appreciate it for it's historical value.This movie also contains a message in it,basically that the end is always the same when you seek the wrong direction in life,a tragic one.I hope everyone that appreciates a good movie will see this "keeper",it's a solid gold movie .Movie Review: excellent

This is a really great movie. It has the mobster lifestyle mixed in with everyday regular family life in the Bronx. With a father's struggle trying to keep his son from being lured into the glamour of a mobster's life. The son learns valuable life lessons throughout the movie living his life in a marginal way with both the good and bad. All in all it is a great movie in my opinion.Movie Review: sheer masterpiece

Robert De Niro stars in, and directed this incredible movie! If you like mob movies, you have to see this one. The acting is absolutely top-notch, from everyone in this film, and the story is unforgettable! This is an absolute must-see movie! This is a semi autobiography of Chazz palminteri who wrote this movie based on his play.the most interesting part to me was Calogero's racist friends Slick and Crazy Mario they chased that bus and they got worse as teenagers.Sonny was a better friend because he and C weren't prejudiced.But great music,songs and scenes in this movie I was totally intertained.
