Movie Review: Pacino time !
Summary: 5 Stars
It has been a while since i watched a movie starring AL pacino, so i collected and bought most of his recent movies and started watching them back to back to endulge myslef into Pacino time.
First i watched Two for the Money (Widescreen Edition)
which was an okay movie, maybe a 3.5 stars.
then i watched 88 minutes, and soon ill watch Righteous Kill.
Now i really did enjoy 88 minutes, it had everything a good movie needs which is a great actor ( Pacino ) and an intriguing thrilling plot.
Pacino plays a forensic Psychiatrist who testfies against a serial killer in court who later is convidted to his crimes and gets the chair, years later, and on the day of the killer's excution, another murder occurs with the same MO of the killer and so some question arrise and then Pacino's character gets a phone call telling him he has 88 minutes to live !
I thought it was pretty good movie, i was a bit let down by the supporting cast as Pacino was surrounded by some very young actors who weren't as good as Pacino and some of the characters were less interesting becasue of that, but that did not ruin the movie at all.

* why did he not go to the police after the threatening phone call ?
Well, the police where starting to think he might have had the wrong guy before or maybe he had something to do with it, they might have wasted his time in questioning and who knows if they were to protect him or take him seriously. And lets not forget he is a forensic Psychaitrist, so its part of his job to invistigate a little, not to mention he felt challenged and wanted to find out himslef..haven't we seen that in many many successful movies where the hero wants to work alone ?!
* Another said how can a person be convicted without DNA or murder weapon ?
Well, there was an eye witness and Pacino testimony was enough it seems, its the jury's decision after all !!

Overall, a very enjoyable movie, a thriller with Pacino in it, it is a must see !!
Movie Review: Serial Killers, Copycat Murders, Frameup....
Summary: 5 Stars
Forensic psychiatrist Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) has put away serial killer Jon Forster (Neal McDonough) with his testimony. Now, nine years later, the Seattle university professor has received a threatening phone call - interestingly timed just as Forster is requesting a stay of execution - and he is told that he has 88 minutes to live.
Next we are led through a series of wild chases on the streets of Seattle, in pursuit of the killer, while evidence piles up to link Gramm himself to recent "copycat" murders.
Can Gramm stay alive long enough to clear himself? And which of his student(s) will be implicated in the frame-up and what, if any, does the current situation have to do with a long-ago murder of Gramm's young sister?
A suspenseful tale, 88 Minutes will have you biting your nails as the movie reaches its surprising conclusion.

Dr. Jack is a shrewed womanizing Forensic Psychologist and professor working with the FBI in Seattle. A tortured past makes him great at what he does. Jack's past is returning to pull him on another roller-coaster as a killer that he helped to put on death row approaches the last minutes of his life. "88 Minutes" is a very good thriller. It kept you guessing from the very start of the movie until the very end.

I read the reviews on this site, and i swear that people are just...i dont know. This movie was perfect, it was natural, it didnt have that fake movie feel where things just seem to unreal. Ask yourself, how would you act if something like this happen to you, you would probably have that same look on your face without knowing it, i mean Pacino was perfect, perfect in this movie. if Amazon.com had 10 Stars for this movie i would give it 10 Stars.Movie Review: ANOTHER PACINO GREAT

Have to stop reading the movie Critics reviews. This movie was rated as a horrible movie by the critics. I listened to that and avoided it since the day it was released. But I finally rented it. It was a fantastic movie, suspension,action packed, great cast. This movie keeps you watching right till the end.
Don't go by the Movie Critics. They Madea goes to jail a D+ and it should have gotten an F.
