i loved 30 days of night. the vampires were so freakishly scary. definately never seen vampires like that before. one thing i must complain about is that toward the end of the movie for some reason the vampires makeup started to look really fake, but all in all i loved the movie. great actors, great special effects, pretty good story.Movie Review: Don't be Fooled by Other Reviews

30 Days is one terrific horror movie. In fact,it's the best since " Mimic". Hartnett gives a low key, just what is needed for this part, performance. The plot is plausable and the pace has you in it's grip. This is one of the best vampire movies I have seen, period. No, this is not your typical, predictable, run-of-the-mill vampire flick that studios have been churning out over the last 20 years. This had got to be one of my favorite movies in the horror type. An A+ for the acting. And the action is wonderful ,5 stars for me. And i am a movie fanatic and see just about everything . I have to say this rates up to the top ten....
