good movie great intertainment i like the part that the group of people were trying to survive by a bunch of sick flesh eating animals, zombies, what ever you want to call them. The ending was good they got what they had coming. The main cop in the movie played a great roll sacraficed him self to save the rest of them. It was really interesting when the day light went out for thirty days, sneaking about trying to survive !Movie Review: I was inpressed

I was told this movie sucked so i wasent in any hurry to see the movie, but i have to say that i think this is one of the better vampire movies out there. I havent seen a good vampire movie in a while and this one did a good job of bringing a classic monster to film and following the comic, yeah the movie doesent have the bizzare creepyness the art in the comic has but it followed the comic pretty well.Movie Review: fantastic movie

My husband and I saw this in the theater, then had to buy it the week it came out. I have seen many vampire movies, read many books- the story is great. The premise is so genius! Why WOULDN'T vampires attack in Alaska when the sun has gone for a whole month?!
The sound these vampires make is bone chilling, as well as their appearance. The action cannot be beat.

Even after watching it again on DVD after seeing it in theaters it was still just as chilling. Very graphic. No cheesy acting. Believable enough to pull you into the moment. Good plot with solid ending for this particular story line. Loved it! ..But like another reviewer said it is definitely not for those who romanticize vampires; there will be no sexy vamps found in this film..lol.Movie Review: 30 Days Of Night

Simply the best vampire movie to come along in years,coming only second to Salem's Lot [the original 1979 version].I really like the concept of the story.Vampires on a 30 day run at the buffet table,exciting.The only quam I have about this movie is I wish the vampires had more traditional fangs instead of the Dawn of the Dead type styling.Still a great movie!
