Movie Review: Don't look now....their 5 Stars
The only thing I can say is "loved the movie"!!!!! I was so hyped to see it, but my husband wasn't sure. Once the movie started, we just couldn't believe what we were seeing. We had never seen a movie done quite like this one. Very entertaining, very scary! Great concept of dealing with vampires during the cold winter month in Alaska when there's total darkness for a month. Just gives me the creeps thinking about it. If you haven't seen it you should. If your not sure, give it a try. You won't be disappointed!Movie Review: 5 for Fighting!

Two years after this film's release I finally 'gave-in' and watched 30 Days of Night.

So, take it from me, if there's anything stopping you from watching this non-stop, adrenalin inducing, vampire (dare I say western/frontier) movie -- you are doing yourself a disservice.
Entertainment at it's (close to) best. Not to mention great SFX and Kill scenes.

I don't understand why this movie recieved poor reviews. The concept is excelent, the acting was pretty flawless, the FX were simple yet effective, and the vampires were the most ruthlessly frightening that I've seen in a very long time.
The only reason I can think of as to why certain viewers did'nt like this film, is that, for once, a director wanted to step outside the box of "traditional" vamp.. movies. People are just stuck on the old style. Too bad.

This is a pretty scary movie to me. I can't even discribe the feeling I had in my spine. It was the feeling like you're fixing to feel cold or something. I don't know. It didn't feel like chills. Anyway, this movie was pretty scary when I first saw it. I tried to watch it again, and I stopped it... and I kind of had that feeling in my spine again. Those vampires might be out there... They are very fast and you'll never know when they'll show up.Movie Review: One of my favorite movies.

I think this is not just a great horror movie, but a great movie period. Stylistically, it very much resembles a graphic novel or comic book. It's also one of the scariest movies I've ever seen and has elements of tragedy and pathos. The story line is believable and the setting perfect. The acting for a horror movie is also good. Okay, so it's a vampire movie, but one with a novel concept. Don't watch it alone or too close to bedtime!
