Movie Review: Not so blind as that I can not see

I believe I believe, or so I think I do. What I can't believe is the idea that on Dec 21st of 2012 we will wake up with a new consciousness. I believe in the process but wouldn't it take 100 drds of years, at least some years LOL.
Wouldn't there still be people left behind, stuck in the old thinking. In other words why does anyone think it will be noticeable?
